Edible SLO | Summer House 2019

Edible Summer House

I’m a little late to the party but over the summer Edible SLO hosted a week-long immersion of food, wine and community at La Lomita Ranch in San Luis Obispo, CA. If you are not familiar with Edible, it is a seasonal magazine that focuses on local cuisine and the people involved in the industry. A new team has taken over and I am honored that they wanted to include me as one of their main photographers. I have done 2 issues with them so far, one being released at the beginning of summer (June) and another being released next month! It has been nothing short of amazing! The team is great and the experiences have been phenomenal.

Now back to the Edible Summer House…

Located on the beautiful La Lomita Ranch in the center of wine country, Edible put together multiple happenings throughout the week in June. Some events included: farm to table dinners, meeting and networking industry leaders, workshops and even a family day. I only photographed one event, which was the issue launch party but I attended multiple days and was able to hold a workshop during the family day! Anyway, here are some images I photographed during the launch.

I didn’t catch many images because during the launch party I was actually doing my traditional black and white portrait pop-up as well. Each photograph below was shot on 4x5 negative sheet film and hand-developed by me. Here are some portraits of that evening as well.
